Cannot speak highly enough of this place or it's staff. Sabrina took on the task of getting our money refunded from a dubious 3rd party booker. She was amazing, and definetly a reason to go back to the resort.💕 The location was fantastic, right on the beach. Just beautiful. The accomodation was super clean and very well equipped. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and great outdoor patio. We relaxed and revived ourselves here. Meeting the GM on our last day was a bonus. Amanda, another lovely lady. We will be back in 2028.

TLDR; If you like to shower daily (especially after being at the beach all day), you are NOT allowed extra or clean TOWELS at all whatsoever. Abysmal customer service at best. Will avoid next year. Edit to add: Absolutely expected a response like this and don’t typically engage with this garbage therefore no further response will be given. Not how those events happened and we all know that. Hopefully the owners see how awful their staff are to customers. I genuinely wish this were a 5-star review because we LOVED the property and location. Unfortunately, the customer service was so incredibly rude, aggressive, and obnoxious that it completely overshadowed our stay. We have two young children who, shockingly, require bathing after spending all day at the lake. After supper on our second night, I went into the office and asked, “May I please snag two more towels for our room?” The brown-haired woman behind the desk stared at me blankly without saying a word. Then Amanda, an older woman in her 60s with black hair, came busting out from the back and aggressively snapped, “Each room is made up for four people, so you need to go look in your drawers.” I didn’t say a SINGLE word. I literally turned around and walked out because I already knew exactly how an interaction with this type of person was going to go. Apparently that wasn’t enough for Amanda, because she then stormed out of the office after us and announced to my husband, “I was just politely telling your wife she can’t have more towels. You can only switch out linens every two days anyways.” Ma’am. Nothing about that interaction was polite. The next day, when we were finally allowed to exchange our linens and towels, the same brown-haired woman acted irritated that we were doing exactly what Amanda had told us to do and actually asked, “Did something happen?” while putting our linens in the linen bag. No ma’am. We have two young children, and we also enjoy the luxury of bathing daily and drying ourselves with clean towels. After making up the beds, we realized they had shorted us three top sheets, not a big deal right? I returned to the office, where a quiet gentleman, who deserves a medal for apparently carrying the entire customer-service department on his back, told me to go to the linen room and ask for them. So, in the POURING rain, I knocked on the linen-room door while watching the employee inside fold sheets. She ignored me. I waited, assuming she would finish what she was doing. Nope. She grabbed ANOTHER sheet, hung it up and continued folding while I stood outside in the rain like I was invisible. I knocked 4 times and she even accidentally made eye contact with me and pretended to not see me (if you’ve seen the room you know it’s impossible to not hear someone knock). I finally went back to the front desk, and this poor man had to leave the office, walk through the rain to the linen room, and personally get me the three sheets while she stood there. I finally told him, “Thank you for being the ONLY person here with ANY customer-service skills whatsoever.” He replied, “It’s okay, it’s okay.” No. It really wasn’t. There were several other interactions with Amanda and the brown-haired mouse at the front desk, but frankly, they aren’t worth the time it would take to write them or yours to read them. You get the idea. We never once felt welcome. Apparently requesting enough towels to bathe your children and enough sheets to actually make the beds is an outrageous demand. Beautiful property. Fantastic location. Absolutely abysmal customer service. We would have happily returned. After being treated like an inconvenience for asking for towels and sheets, we absolutely will not.

We stayed at Sandy Beach Suites on September 19-20 and we absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious, nice and newly renovated. The private beach is the fun part and you get huge balcony with each room. The location is very accessible and it’s just amazing. Would definitely stay again for the staff’s friendliness and hospitality :) Thank you for making our stay WORTH IT !!!

This was the 1st time we booked Sandy beach, but we have been coming to Osoyoos for afew years. We have 2 kids under 8, we booked a 2bd room suite. It was perfect for our family. Enough storage, appliances all worked and patio was big enough for us. We used all the recreational toys they had and the kids had a blast. Beach had enough chairs for everyone, sand was smooth amd water wasn't deep. Its really family friendly, no loud parties and enough BBQ stations for everyone. Kids play area was nicely maintained, they even have a pickle ball court cross the street. Hopefully we can book in next sept long week as our kids loved this hotel. We always stayed at the watermark, but honestly I favorite sandy beach more!

A group of my friends was supposed to stay 3 nights here. However, due to the fact manning park is on fire and we would have to drive through that to get to this place and the fact that the air quality would be awful due to the fire directly south of them across the border (which they themselves admitted to when we called them) we decided to cancel. They have refused to give an almost 400$ deposit back stating that since they’re not in an evacuation zone that we’re making a “personal decision” not to drive through a forest fire to get to this place and sit in smoke for 3 days. Turns out sandy beaches is just a shady beach with shady owners.
